Learn Yoga, Pilates and Stand Up Paddle Board (SUP)
KB Sculpt offers Stand up Paddleboard Yoga Classes & Events. SUP yoga will strengthen your core, build lean muscle and make you sweat. Your body will move through a series of yoga poses and strength movements with the purpose of increasing balance, strength, flexibility and endurance. A surface that is unstable means a full fitness experience and the most adventurous yoga class you can find. Don’t forget to breathe, take in the scenic views, enjoy the sounds of nature and catch some rays of sunshine as the body flows on an unstable surface. SUP yoga will reinvigorate you, challenge you and bring your workouts to new limits all while enjoying the lake life! SUP yoga is offered on Shady Oak Beach and Excelsior Beach in Minnetonka.
I began my yoga journey as a child when my mom would bring me with her to classes at the age of 13. Many years passed since I was a student athlete in high school and college. I graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Stout with a degree in Retail Management in 2012 and shortly after I completed my first 200 hour yoga training through LifePower Yoga and began teaching at Life Time.
In 2015, I completed PEAK Pilates level 1 certification through Life Time Academy and began teaching at Life Time Athletic St. Louis Park. It wasn’t long after KB Sculpt was born and I merged yoga and Pilates into sculpt classes and started teaching on SUPs! Somewhere in between I said “I DO” on the sandy beaches of Punta Cana! In fall 2016 I completed PEAK Pilates level 2 certification.
I created KB Sculpt to share my love and knowledge of yoga, Pilates and SUP through private/group classes, in-home and workplace sessions.
